# Trading Competitions

Compete with fellow traders for a share of the prize pool in our exclusive trading competitions.

**What is a Trading Competition?**

A trading competition is a short-term, token-specific contest where traders earn points for their trades on Wolfswap.app with selected tokens, competing to rise on the leaderboard. These competitions run for a limited time and are distinct from Wolfswap’s main trading events.

Points are typically awarded for both buying and selling contest tokens, with buys usually earning a 2x multiplier. However, multipliers and scoring criteria may vary by contest, so please refer to the specific competition rules and scoring information on the contest trading page.

The contest trading page will display the current leaderboard, available prizes, and the winning positions.

**For Project Leads: Hosting a Contest on Wolfswap**

Wolfswap reviews applications from project leads interested in hosting trading contests. All prizes and reward tokens must be provided by the sponsoring project and transferred to Wolfswap prior to the contest’s start.

Projects can provide their own token or other tokens from the same blockchain as prizes. Please note that Wolfswap does not endorse any project or token, and listing in a contest does not constitute a recommendation or endorsement by Wolfswap.
